HCDA chair opens virtual meeting, introduces three new board members
HCDA Chair Michiela Litstone opened the Sept. 2 meeting, explained virtual meeting procedures under HRS §92-3.7, and introduced three new board members — Rodney Funakoshi, Bill Thomas and Brian Furuto — before the board approved routine minutes and moved to substantive business.

Chair Michiela Litstone called the Hawaiʻi Community Development Authority meeting to order at 9:17 a.m. and identified herself: "My name is Michiela Litstone, chairperson of the authority." She welcomed three new board members: Rodney Funakoshi (at-large, replacing Sterling Higa), Bill Thomas (replacing Punihei Lipe as the resident board member) and Brian Furuto (new designee for the Department of Budget and Finance).
