The full story

City staff presented three cases involving overgrown weeds and failure to maintain residential landscaping and parking areas. For each property — 721 Pine Lane (case C26000160), 731 Pine Lane (case C26070061) and a vacant lot owned by Katumbi Nissim (case C26070017) — staff documented posted notices, photographs and measurements showing overgrowth. The board moved to find each respondent in violation and ordered correction on or before Oct. 21, 2026, with a $250-per-day fine for each day the violation continues past that date and recovery of enforcement costs.
