A representative of the Summit Recovery Hub urged the Health & Human Services Committee to back a resolution declaring September 2026 as Recovery Month and to support peer-led recovery services across Summit County. The speaker described the Hub as a peer-run recovery community organization with a drop-in center on West Market Street and said it provides transportation, peer support, harm-reduction services and workforce-development plans after a recent property purchase. "The Summit Recovery Hub, again, is a peer led, nonprofit, recovery community organization that we opened in 2022," the speaker said.
