Miss Pion, the board's representative to the Chester County Intermediate Unit (CCIU), briefed the board on the unit's Aug. 19 meeting. She said the Brandywine Virtual Academy served more than 3,400 students and enrolled 770 students in summer programming, and outlined expansions in K–8 music and multilingual programs with local district partnerships.
