He said the Avery accessibility project added exterior access to play areas, a new patio and a circular drop‑off with dedicated ADA parking; at Hixon, the district added 20‑mil impact‑resistant film, frosted exterior glazing and revised door hardware to reduce the risk of a breach through windowed openings.
