At a joint Broward County meeting, school board and county officials agreed to explore partnerships to use county venues and school facilities for graduations and community space, and to inventory facilities to guide next steps.

School board and county leaders opened a discussion about sharing facilities for community uses, including possible county venues for high-school graduations and expanded library access. Sarah Leonardi, representing District 3 and 'also the chair,' asked staff to move the conversation forward and compile a list of facilities available for joint use.
