COMAL ISD said it is equipping staff with Raptor wearables — badges tied to the district's visitor-management and emergency-notification system — that act as silent panic alarms to instantly notify first responders and district safety personnel. "This works as a silent panic alarm that allows teachers and staff to instantly notify 1st responders and district safety personnel during an emergency," the official said.
