Julie Cronkite presented the 2026–27 District Improvement Plan (DIP) and the campus improvement plans (CIPs), outlining the statutory basis under Texas Education Code §11.251 and the iterative development process involving the District Educational Improvement Council (DEIC) and campus leaders. Cronkite said the plans include needs assessments, strategic priorities, performance objectives and stated that formative reviews will occur in October, January and March with a summative review in May.
