At the start of the policy portion of the work meeting, Speaker 3 summarized a review of code-enforcement language and tools and told council members the city already has abatement procedures and a daily citation fee schedule under its code. "Ours already, we already have an abatement procedure," Speaker 3 said, describing the code enforcement framework and what additional tools a consolidated ordinance from another city might add.
