YJOC to add compensated lived-experience representatives to work groups

Members discussed plans to bring lived-experience representatives more directly into YJOC work groups. Mark (speaker 2) said the committee will focus on targeted outreach to groups that support and prepare youth for meaningful participation, appoint Adriana as an engagement coordinator and single point of contact, and compensate representatives: "We do have the billing now that YJOC is under the 62 to compensate them directly for their time," he said.
