The board approved MRI Construction Proposal #606 to widen the opening on the E3 Basin control structure for $3,500. District Engineer Charlie Krebs explained the work would use a concrete saw to widen the weir to the maximum allowable width to improve water outflow near the FPL easement and discussed whether a manual open/close gate could be installed.
