Rick, identified to the board as the administrator of Promise Academy, presented the school's annual review, telling trustees the program served 80 students in 2025–26 — 59 girls and 21 boys — most of whom live on the residential campus and receive psychiatric treatment and therapy. "We served exactly 80 students at Promise Academy," Rick said; he added the program serves more 9th–11th graders than other grades and runs year-round, including a summer session.
