Council members discussed a staff request to defer a resolution supporting Webster City's application to the Hometown Pride program so that Mr. Maxi of the Growth Partnership could present. Staff said the program is administered by Keep Iowa Beautiful and suggested that the program could offer upside with relatively low financial commitment; one staff speaker noted that only two towns in Hamilton County had not yet committed.
