The board considered two retail infrastructure grant recommendations and moved to approve both awards. Deborah Bradford presented the subcommittee’s findings and recommended full awards for Shorty's McKinney LLC (up to $29,644 for exterior infrastructure) and Hope Hardware Building LP (up to $50,000 for a grease trap and site plumbing). The agenda language explained the grants represent up to 75% of eligible exterior infrastructure costs for projects intended to create or expand business.
