National clearinghouse and ethics chatbot presented to board as tools for educator conduct and support
Jimmy Adams of NASDAQ described a national educator identification clearinghouse tracking administrative discipline actions since 1985 and an AI-based ethical decision'support chatbot (chat.educatorethics.org) designed to help educators apply the model code of ethics; ADE staff said the chatbot is being linked to educator resources and training.

Jimmy Adams, executive director of the National Association of State Directors of Teacher Education and Certification (NASDAQ), briefed the board on two resources aimed at improving educator practice: a national educator identification clearinghouse that compiles administrative discipline actions (in existence since 1985) and an "ethical decision'making support" chatbot designed to help educators work through ethics questions.
