District reports progress on multi‑million dollar school construction projects, timelines and permits

Construction services staff presented the bimonthly project update, listing project costs, seat counts and schedules. For Bayshore K‑8 expansion the presentation said "This total project cost is at $50,000,000 it added 606 new seats to the school campus and we are on schedule for November 30 substantial completion." Staff also reported a $103,000,000 initial GMP for Quad B PK‑8 with value engineering in progress and cited multiple other projects (Bonita Springs Building 20 occupancy, Cape Coral Technical College completion July 14, Cypress Lake partial substantial completion Oct. 2).
