Board recognizes Kyrene 'Super Students' nominated by principals
Before regular business, the board presented "Kyrene Super Student" certificates to students nominated by their principals for demonstrating the districts core competencies (adaptable learner, community contributor, communicator, critical thinker).

As part of the regular meetings opening segment the board recognized a series of students nominated by school principals as "Kyrene Super Students." Board members read short nominations and invited students to the front to receive certificates and small tokens donated by local businesses and the Kyrene Foundation.
