Commission approves Heather Wild Commons preliminary plan after striking waiver note

Planning staff told the Planning and Zoning Commission that the preliminary plat for the Heather Wild Commons subdivision included a note granting a waiver to delay connecting water and wastewater to one lot, a waiver staff said could not be approved via a note on the preliminary plan. "That is essentially a subdivision waiver and cannot be arbitrarily granted cannot be granted with a note on the preliminary plan," a staff member said during the Aug. 3 meeting.
