Planning staff told the board an applicant for Alcoa Groves requested continuances for three quasi-judicial items: a conditional use permit, a Class 2 mining permit and a major site plan. Staff said the petitions were properly noticed for public hearing but that the applicant requested the items be continued to the Aug. 19, 2026 Board of County Commissioners meeting.
