The Chair of the Cumming Planning and Zoning Commission opened a public hearing Aug. 18 on the city’s five-year comprehensive plan update and the annual capital improvements element. The consulting planner told commissioners the hearing is an early step required by state rules to give the public a chance to guide the update.
