Multiple residents urged the council not to reduce support for the Kennett library and asked for a more open, volunteer-driven process for appointing members to the comprehensive-plan stakeholder group; one commenter reported PennDOT had scheduled Baltimore Pike work for 2027.

During the public-comment period residents spoke in defense of the Kennett public library and urged the borough not to pursue actions that could reverse referenda or cut library funding. "We spend so much time talking about community, and the Kennett community, and that library is our community hub," a resident said, urging continued borough support.
