District staff told the subcommittee that Valley Elementary’s pre‑K dismissal and pick‑up patterns have improved after targeted work including extra paving to create queuing lanes, strategic no‑parking during school hours installed by DPW, and custodian deployment to manage flow. A presenter said the “flow is much better now” and attributed the change to combined operational and physical improvements.
