District communications: check Springfield Public Schools website and FAQs; schools using ClassDojo
The communications director asked families to rely on the district website for the latest FAQs and said schools are using ClassDojo and other direct tools while central communications rebuilds systems disrupted by the breach.

Azelle Murphy Kavan, the district communications director, told reporters that the earliest notification to families was possible only after the district regained some outreach capability and that the district is relying on its website for authoritative updates.
