The Oak Ridge Board of Education approved awarding a contract to Toadvine Enterprises for Jefferson Middle School bleacher replacement in the amount of $164,809. The superintendent told the board the existing bleachers date to the school's 1968 construction, have exceeded expected service life, and no longer meet applicable safety and ADA compliance standards.
