Board approves $1.111 million Clark Construction bid for multi-phase stormwater project
The board accepted Clark Construction Group, Inc.'s bid for four stormwater management phases and added an extra 5% contingency, raising the not-to-exceed contract to $1,111,860. The contingency covers unknowns like tree removal and sprinkler-head adjustments; the Oak Run HOA connection option was noted at $197,201.47.

District Engineer Charlie Krebs and Mr. Long reviewed competing bids for stormwater drainage improvements and recommended allowing additional contingency to cover unknown unit-cost items. The additional 5% contingency—on top of the 15% already included in bids—raised the project Grand Total from $1,058,914.45 to $1,111,860.
