The Beaver County Board of Commissioners proclaimed Sept. 13-19, 2026 as Direct Support Professionals Week and approved the proclamation by voice vote at the Sept. 24 meeting. Sister Morton read the proclamation summarizing the role of direct support professionals in assisting individuals with intellectual, developmental, and other disabilities.
