Trustees discuss Prop 43, county charter concerns and AB 2017 implementation implications

During the legislative update trustees noted the governor's upcoming deadline to sign or veto bills and discussed guidance requested by the California School Boards Association. One trustee said he supports Prop 43, which would raise the threshold for some special parcel taxes to 66 percent for passage, and indicated he will submit feedback to CSBA delegates.
