Council adopts $50 meter-install fee on second and final reading
On second and final reading the council approved ordinance 102-26 to raise the meter-install fee for electric/bar readers to $50 each; the fee applies to rare re-installs when a customer's service is absent for two or more consecutive months.

Chair (Speaker 1) read the second and final reading for ordinance 102-26 (meter-install fee) and explained the intent: when electric/bar readers are installed or reinstalled after a prolonged absence of service, the town will assess a $50 charge.
