Town staff reports progress on water and sewer projects; USDA items still outstanding
Staff told the Frankton Town Council that post-construction monitoring meters are installed and monitoring has begun, but three items — an affidavit/advertising, title opinion and right-of-way map — must be completed before USDA will issue closeout and bond instructions.

At the council meeting Staff member (Speaker 4) gave a detailed update on the Division B Phase 2 and Division C Phase 1 water and sewer projects. He reported that the RD/USDA walkthrough is finished, post-construction monitoring meters are installed and monitoring is underway, and that certain manufacturer and contract issues (a replaced belt and contact modifications) had been addressed. He said the pay application is being postponed until USDA approval is received.
