After questions and public comment, the mayor summarized the discussion and recommended that staff receive the RFP responses due July 2 and that the council meet promptly thereafter to select an architect to produce schematic design and validated cost estimates. The mayor said the effort will require a "herculean" push from council, staff, the CAC and consultants to meet the December/early‑November work products needed for a March 2027 bond filing.
