Following the ordinance's adoption, the council voted to allow the Skelton Island Fire Territory chief to inspect three specified properties in town, including a house associated with Jack Phillips and a property near a recently burned trailer. The inspections are intended to produce written reports and photographs describing whether each property poses a public safety or health hazard.
