Board recognizes student National Math Star, bilingual program completers and an HVAC technician
Trustees recognized Dominic Poindexter for selection to the National Math Stars program, honored students exiting the bilingual program (27 at brick-and-mortar campuses and 190 at Tiva), and lauded HVAC technician Brooks Vaughn for completing certification and licensure.

The board paused its agenda to recognize student and staff accomplishments. Trustees congratulated Dominic Poindexter on being accepted into the National Math Stars program; his teacher, Miss Coulter, described his curiosity and work ethic and asked the board to join in congratulating him.
