The full story

The council heard a report from the chair about a county-level blight-remediation meeting in which county officials outlined approximately $900,000 in funding. The chair said Greensburg is to receive half of the allocation and the remaining half is intended to be divided among the four incorporated towns, including New Point. "The county got $900,000... and the city of Greensburg gets 0.5 of that. The 4 incorporated towns... are supposed to divvy up the other 0.5," the chair reported.
