Public works staff told the council that work on High Street is progressing: storm sewers are in and sanitary piping is mostly complete; disinfecting, bacteria testing and pressure tests remain before new service lines can be put into service. Staff cautioned weather and recent rains have delayed progress and said contractors are approximately two weeks behind schedule.
