Board approves refund after double assessment on tractor
The Nance County Board approved a refund to a resident who was assessed twice for the same tractor on 2024 tax rolls; the request had been submitted by letter and previously approved on a prior tax list correction.

The Board reviewed a letter from Mike Voichahoske requesting a refund for a 2024 personal property assessment that listed the same tractor on two different schedules. Scott Russell moved to approve the refund; Robert Voichoskie seconded and the motion carried under the board’s roll call procedure.
