The Amherst County Board of Supervisors approved a commemorative resolution honoring Michael Harrison Driscoll during the Sept. 1 meeting. The resolution, presented by the county administrator and adopted by voice vote, states that Mr. Driscoll passed on 07/22/2026 at age 79 and highlights his service as a town councilman, his prior military service in the United States Air Force (retired with the rank of major) and his career details included in the resolution.
