Board adopts resolution to formalize nonvoting student representative
The Okemos Board of Education adopted a resolution establishing a nonvoting student representative, selected by high school students for a one-year July–June term; the student may participate in open sessions but cannot introduce or vote on motions and may attend closed sessions only if authorized.
