Ridgely board fixes clerical error in submitted budget, approves $53,000 amendment
The Town Board approved a ministerial budget amendment (Resolution 081326-2) to replace a placeholder word with the actual figure of $53,000 on a previously submitted budget document; the change was made at the state's request and passed by roll call.

Town staff told the board that when the FY2027 budget ordinance was submitted to the state, a formula field on the first page failed to transfer and the word "value" remained where the figure should have been. The state allowed the town to correct the error by resolution rather than ordinance.
