Commission tables Walmart/Wing drone‑delivery conditional use permit for further study
After a lengthy public hearing with several neighbors and experts raising safety, noise, battery‑hazard and land‑use concerns, the Planning Commission voted 7–0 to table the proposed Walmart/Wing drone facility CUP for about 45 days to gather more data, request additional departmental reviews and map the six‑mile service radius.

The Twilla City Planning Commission on Sept. 23 voted to table a conditional use permit application by SGA Design Group/Walmart for a Wing drone‑delivery site in the Walmart parking lot at 99 West 1280 North.
