Council approves contract for East Valley water source and water-rights study

Twilla City Council voted 4–0 Sept. 16 to approve a contract with Hansen Allen & Loos, Inc. for the 'Twilla East Valley Water Source and Water Rights Study.' Public Works Director Nathan Far said the study will evaluate how the city can use existing east-side water rights and better develop east-side sources to support growth and distribution across the city. "This will actually help us to know how best to use what we have especially on the east side of the city," Far said.
