Allison Duncan, speaking for the Historic Commission, asked the council to authorize a request for qualifications/proposals to create an on‑call list of archaeological consultants to assess subsurface conditions on city‑owned historic properties. She emphasized that "we're just seeking qualified services so that we can start to move in this direction... there is no impact to budget at this time."
