Jenkins County commissioners approved a temporary construction easement with the Georgia Department of Transportation (GDOT) for a Transportation Improvement Agreement (TIA) project on Recreation Drive. County Administrator Grady Saxon said the work includes widening Recreation Drive, installing curb and gutter, and realigning the end of Virginia Avenue so it meets Recreation Drive at a 90-degree angle.
