Zapata County commissioners unanimously approved an attendance awareness proclamation presented by Nancy Guo, federal programs compliance manager at Zapata County ISD. The proclamation designates a countywide campaign to reduce chronic absenteeism and promotes community and school partnerships to increase daily attendance.
