Putnam County issues negative declaration for 2025–2034 solid-waste plan, names new manager
The legislature reviewed and completed the county solid-waste management plan for 2025–2034, issued a negative declaration under environmental review, and acknowledged creation of a new solid-waste manager position filled by Savannah (PhD).

County staff presented the proposed Putnam County Solid Waste Management Plan for 2025–2034 and, after review of the environmental assessment form and consultation with involved agencies, the legislature acting as lead agency determined the plan would not have significant adverse environmental impacts and issued a negative declaration.
