The Butte County Board of Commissioners accepted the resignation of Jasen Saivong from the Veterans Service Office during its Sept. 3, 2026 regular meeting. Chairman Chad Erk declared the board out of a personnel executive session at 12:34 p.m. and the motion to accept the resignation carried unanimously.
