Big Spring School District reports $446,360 preliminary surplus for 2024–25
At the first 2026 board meeting, finance presenter Mrs. Lince said the district closed fiscal 2024–25 with about $66.68 million in revenue and $66.22 million in expenses, leaving a preliminary surplus of $446,360; after a prior-year transfer the net position was about $2.8 million.

Mrs. Lince told the board the preliminary results from the 2024–25 audit show the district ‘‘ended with about 66.68 million in total revenues’’ and ‘‘ended with expenses of about 66.22 million leaving what we call a surplus of $446,360.’’ She cautioned the figures are preliminary while auditors finish the final statements.
