County staff recommended Paycom as the county’s new HR/payroll system after about a year of evaluation and an RFP process. Charlotte (county staff) and Elliot Kane of Paycom outlined the product and implementation plan; Paycom listed the year‑one subscription at $34,889.76, implementation fees of $4,636.64 and estimated EDI carrier fees of $3,250. The presenters estimated recurring efficiencies of roughly $22,000–$37,000 a year from discontinued software and administrative time savings.
