Mrs. Datada reviewed I-Ready and PSSA math results and flagged fifth-grade fractions as a primary area for instructional focus. "We have analyzed data to determine that fractions are a key in that being slightly lower," she said, and described professional development in concrete–representational–abstract fraction instruction attended by fifth-grade teachers.
