Mrs. Datada, Big Spring School District’s director of curriculum and instruction, presented an overview of district assessment calendars and results, saying the data show students are making measurable gains. "I'm here this evening ... to provide an update on academic performance both from a proficiency lens as well as a growth lens," she said, and walked the board through local diagnostic calendars and benchmark windows for elementary, middle and high school students.
