District 300 summarizes summer programs: internships, ESY services and camps reported
District staff reported summer programming figures including 24 deaf/hard-of-hearing participants in NIA ESY, 456 Summer Scholars, 124 athletic camps and 99 paid student internships that collectively earned $89,100.

Dr. Melanie Gravel, presenting the superintendent's summer program report, said District 300 offered a wide range of learning and enrichment opportunities this summer including extended school year (ESY) services, a deaf and hard-of-hearing program in partnership with the Northwestern Illinois Association (NIA), Summer Scholars math supports, multiple career and technical education camps, driver education and 124 athletic camps.
